Migrating a site from another host to Navju Cloud usually takes 1–2 hours of work plus DNS propagation time (up to 24 h). Done with no downtime if you go in order.
\n
What to prepare
\n
- Old host credentials (cPanel/SSH/FTP, database)
- An ordered Navju Cloud plan — already ready to receive the site
- DNS management access for your domain
\n
Migration steps
\n
- On the old host: make a full site backup (files + DB). In cPanel → Backup Wizard → Full Backup. Get a ZIP/TAR.GZ.
- On Navju Cloud: via cPanel → Restore upload this archive. Files and DB are restored automatically.
- Test the site at the temporary URL — Navju Cloud provides a preview domain in the panel. Open it, confirm everything works.
- Change DNS: at the domain registrar set Navju Cloud nameservers (provided when you ordered hosting).
- Wait for propagation — usually 15 minutes to 4 hours. Verify via DNS Propagation Checker.
- Enable SSL — Let’s Encrypt in cPanel
\n
Special cases
\n
- WordPress: use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin — export on the old, import on the new
- Large DB (>512 MB): upload the dump via SSH (mysql), not phpMyAdmin
- Mail: move mailboxes via our free migration service or IMAPSync

If you’d rather not — the Navju Cloud manager migrates for free. Open a ticket with credentials.
