When you register a domain, your contact details (name, email, phone, address) end up in the public WHOIS database. Anyone can view them via a WHOIS query — this invites spam, fraud and unwanted contact.
To hide your data, use the WHOIS Privacy service.
How Privacy works:
- In public WHOIS, the registrar data is shown instead of yours.
- Legally, you remain the owner of the domain.
- All letters (ICANN notices, legal letters) are forwarded to you automatically.
How to enable at Navju Cloud:
- Open the domain in your client area.
- Under “Addons” select “Enable ID Protection”.
- Pay for the service — it activates immediately.
Important: WHOIS Privacy is available for most international TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .info). For .tj, publication of contact data is mandatory by zone policy.
