Sometimes it is better to use external DNS — Cloudflare (CDN+DDoS protection), AWS Route 53 (for AWS projects), Google Cloud DNS etc.
Steps:
- Sign up at the external DNS provider.
- Create a zone for your domain there and copy all records (A, MX, CNAME, TXT) — otherwise the site and mail will go down.
- The provider will give you their NS (e.g. for Cloudflare:
aria.ns.cloudflare.com,reese.ns.cloudflare.com). - In your Navju Cloud client area → your domain → Nameservers → enter the provider NS and save.
- Wait for DNS propagation (1–24 hours).
What is important:
- After NS change, our client-area DNS Management does not work for this domain — records live at the new provider.
- The .tj zone allows any NS — no restrictions.
- Before changing NS, copy all current records so nothing is lost.
To switch back — just put our NS (ns1/ns2.navjucloud.tj) on the same page.
