2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is an extra code at login besides the password. Drastically improves security: even if the password is stolen, without the second code login is impossible.
Enable steps:
- Go to security settings.
- Find Two-Factor Authentication → Click here to Enable.
- Pick a method:
- Time Based Tokens — app like Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password (recommended).
- Email — code arrives by mail (less secure).
- If you picked an app — scan the QR code in the app.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.
- Save the backup codes in a safe place — they help if you lose your phone.
How to use:
Next time you sign in, after the password you will be asked for the 6-digit code from the app. The code rotates every 30 seconds.
If you lose the phone with the app:
- Use the backup code at login.
- If you lost the backups too — open a ticket, we will disable 2FA after identity verification.
