Backups: How to Create and Restore a Site from a Backup

A backup is a safety net for your site: in case of breakage, infection or error you can always roll back. Navju Cloud offers both automatic and manual backups.

Automatic backups

We take daily snapshots of all accounts and keep them for 7–14 days (depending on the plan). Restore is possible via ticket.

Manual backup via cPanel:

  1. Sign in to cPanel → “Files” section → Backup Wizard.
  2. Click Back Up → Full Backup.
  3. Provide an email for notification.
  4. In 5–30 minutes the archive will be ready in your Home Directory. Download via FTP or File Manager.

Restore:

  • Full account — open a ticket, we will restore from auto-backup in 1–2 hours.
  • Files only — cPanel → File Manager → upload .tar.gz and extract.
  • Database only — phpMyAdmin → Import → select .sql.
